    was built beside it.
There was a man who lived in Ballymagan at one time named Dan Doherty.
His grandfather was the first man who entered into this house.
The next was his father Mr Neil Doherty, and the next was himself.
He married a girl from Conglash named Mary Doherty.
The two lived in this house and were very happy and there was no house beside them. There was (was) a house a few yards above them.
Dan died when he was an old man and these was no one in the house but his wife Mary. She got afraid to stay alone in the house at night and she left it, and went up into the house where Mr George McGee now lives in and lived there. The house she left fell into rains.
That place is stilled called "Den's fort" because he lived there along time.
