They came to a King's house where the King put them in prison and they escaped. The King asked Blackbrutches to get him "The Horse of Bells" "The Cap of Lightness" and "The Gold quilt" and he would reward the three of them.
When Blackbrutches went to get the horse there were many men minding him, so he went and hid.
One of the men found Blackbrutches asleep and he had a bottle of something in his pocket, each of the men took a drink out of the bottle and fell asleep.
When Blackbrutches awoke, he found the men asleep and he the "Horse of Bells" to the King.
