We now hear everyday during the Harvest of people getting eggs in potatoes and we also hear that the potatoes where the eggs are found (of) are usually of little value. This is quite true as nearly every farmer gets them in his crops nowadays.
It is said that they are put there on May night by people with the intention of taking the crops from (the) others so that that leaves the poor unfortunate people without any crop or very little at least.
Some people say that this cannot be done and that it is a sin to believe so as it is superstition but the majority of people believe it as they see it happen to themselves.
