  1. We are told that St Patrick visited Dunmore parish. He came over the hills from Ballinlough through Clogher into Kiltevna. It was there he built his first Church in Dunmore parish. The remains of this Church are there in an old cemetery about one mile away from the present Church and in an out of the way place.
    The clay from this church was brought to bless the site
