  1. There was a sprigging camp in the townland of Glenboy. The girls of the district came and gathered there and the only light they had was a rush candle.
    There was a frame for holding the rush candle it was set up on the floor and a thing on the top of it like a nippers for holding the candle.
    The rush candles (A) was made by peeling the rush and soaking it in grease. Its stopped working about fifty years.
