  1. There are five tailors in the Parish. They work at home and they do not go from house to house.
    Some of them stock cloth. The kind of cloth that is worn is tweed, serge, and home spun tweed.
    The implements a tailor uses are a scissors, a sewing-machine, a needle, a thimble, a tape, a chalk for marking, and a big heavy iron.
    Some people in this district make shirts at home. The kind of cloth that is worn is linen cloth, cotton, flannel and flannel-ett.
    A lot of people in this district knit socks, and stockings, and Mrs. Wilson, Donaghmore, Manorhamilton, has a knitting-machine, and she knits a lot of socks, and stockings for sale.
