  1. A long time ago a man named Hugh MacMorrow went for a priest for his dying sister.
Priests boarded and lodged in other houses as they had no houses of their own that time.
It was dark when the man left home. At a certain bridge on his way he saw a man fishing and every button on his coat was as big as breakfast plate.
When Hugh arrived at his destination the priest was away. It was midnight when the priest came home, so he said, it was too late to go attend the patient.
The priest gave Hugh MacMorrow a crucifix which was blessed for a happy death.
The crucifix was to be given to the patient in case she died before the priest got there.
Hugh started for home and when he reached the bridge where he saw the man fishing a while previous, out jumped a big black pig and it followed him.
Then the man turned and faced the pig with the crucifix. He walked backwards in this manner for a long time.
When he crossed a river near his own home the pig disappeared.
