    Before the house was started four sods were raised and left there during the night. If these sods were interfered with the house was on the fairy path.

    When you see a new moon first you should not tell anyone in the house until you say the following rhyme.
    I see the new moon
    The new moon sees me
    God bless the new moon
    And God bless me.
