    Shrove is a period of time in which many people are married. This period of time begins on the seventh of January and ends on Shrove Tuesday.
    There are many marriages in my district during this time every year. Before the marriage takes place the match is made. The matches are usually made on Sundays or at fairs or markets. Either the couple themselves that
