  1. The food used by the people of long ago differed very much from the food of nowadays. People ate three meals every day. The name of the first meal was breakfast the second was called dinner and the third was called supper.
    At breakfast the had porridge and at dinner they ate potatoes and at supper they had mashed potatoes called cally.
