    The name of the downland I live in is Liscallyrone. It is called that because there are four forts in it. There are twelve houses in it and an old ruin. Some of the people of the downland emigrated to American and England. In the penal times there were about thirty houses in it and they all fell and the people that were in them died of starvation. There is one house in the downland which belongs to Frank Lenehan and it is said that there is a pot of gold hidden in the byre and that one person
