- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)in ruins. This building was owned by Larry McDermot a milisian and catholic. He had two sons, and one daughter. There were six hundred acres of a bad land attached to Ballycloran. The house was two storeys high with large stone steps leading up to the front door, with four windows in the lower and six in the upper storey, and a basement with kitchens below. The roof is entirely off and the knocker is still on the door. It is a large lion headed knocker, but half the door is gone. There is not a pane of glass left in the windows and even the window frames have decayed. It was a fine showy house with stables, gardens and avenue and there is a walk round the demesne. In front there was a spacious lawn with a drive through it and flower beds on each side of it.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
