  2. There are ruins of an old castle on the shores of Rinn Lough. It is in the townland of Rinn and in the Barony of Mohill and in Co. Leitrim. It was attacked by O'Connor king of Connaught long ago. There are ruins of an old monastery in Farnaught, just between the Catholic and Protestant
