- (continued from previous page)There was a man and woman who lived where John Gray of Rinn is living now. They were hunted out of their house by Lord Leitrim. They had a big machine for making money. They carried the machine down to Drumbad lough and put it into the boat and swam out the middle of the lough and threw it out there. It is said that it is there yet.
- At the back of John Thomas's house as you go into Mohill there is a well and Saint Patrick is supposed to have blessed it cures warts. You have to go three days to the well Monday Thursday and Monday(continues on next page)
