  1. Herbs.
    Some weeds and herbs are very harmful to land. The most harmful is scutch-grass. Scutch-grass grows on every kind of land. When scutch-grass gets into a field or garden it can't be got rid of readily. It spreads all over, and little piece would grow.
    There are other herbs not so harmful as scutch-grass. These are some of them, thistles, docks nettles, buchalláins and scoutguns.
    Thistles generally grow in meadows and pasture fields. Docks grow everywhere and are harmful
    Where one dock grows forty or fifty will grow again. Nettles
