  1. Our farm is situated in the townland of Drummercross. Potatoes are grown on our farm every year. We have about an acre of land under potatoes this year. The amount varies. Sometimes we have more than an acre and sometimes we have less than an acre.
    My father prepares the ground every year before he sets the potatoes. We have some of the potatoes in ridges. If my father intends to put the potatoes in ridges he spreads the manure in straight rows up and down the field. He leaves a space between each row of manure for furrows.
