  1. In olden times the people did not bother much about Doctors as they were able to make their own Medicine and ointments out of herbs. A lot of those cures are known to the present day. As some people pick the Dandelion or yarrow and dry it and then draw it like tea and drink the water. It is said to be a great cure for Rheumatism. Ointments can be made from the barks of trees. Soot, salt, and pepper mixed together was a great cure for toothache.
