One All Souls' Night a wrap came to a woman's door. She was living somewhere near Caherciveen. She was all alone, and was sick in bed. She heard the wrap, and asked who was there, but there came no answer. The wrap was a kind of gentle one and when it came the second time she said to herself that it might be only a cat or a dog at the door, so she remained in bed. Then a shadow of a pale face came outside the window, and when she saw it she dropped dead with the fright. And that house is haunted, and it is said that the house is very old, and that no one is to be seen in it.
