  1. Long ago, there was a man and he was in the habit of going to a neighbour's house, every night, playing cards.
    One night as he was coming home, he saw a number of horse men riding towards him.
    They all passed him slowly and the last horse passed, the dust rose out of the road. A small bit of it went into one of his eyes, and it is said that he became blind on the spot.
