    A tinker woman was asking for alms and when she saw a man putting his hand in his pocket she said "The blessing of God may follow you" but he withdrew his hand without a coin for her and she added "and never overtake you".
    The weather - Fine weather praise be to God, or Glory be to God.
    Any time of stress "May the Lord avert his anger from us".
    If one got a lift "That you may always have a good horse".
    If one did a job free for a person "God spare you the health and that you may never be so long sick or sore".
    "That I may be dancing at your wedding. "That you may see your childrens' children ". "That your hair may be grey"
    In illness "May the Lord relieve you or him or her any visitation or loss". "God is good".
