    Riddles.
    As I went up the hill of Ardrass, I met forty or fifty little devils eating grass?
    A hen with a clutch of chickens.
    Why does a cow look over a hill?
    Because she can't look under it.
    What part of a cow goes out in a gate first?
    Her breath.
    Although I have neither legs nor feet, I am only useful when I go. I have no tongue but yet I tell what many hundreds want to know.
