  1. There are six churchyards in the parish. One is situated in the village of Knocktopher, another in Ballyhale, one in the townland of Derrynahinch, one in Knockmoylan, Kilcurl, and Kilcready.
They are all in use. The ruins of an old church are still to be seen in Derrynahinch.
There are trees growing in Knocktopher graveyard.
Some of the churchyards contain very old tombs and monuments. The crosses are made of stone and iron.
In the ruins in Derrynahinch churchyard people are buried, because it was their wish before their deaths.
Some local families are still buried in their native village.
