  1. Local Cures.
Some people are gifted with the power of effecting cures by means of herbs. There is one man in particular that I know of namely Mr. Edgehilll, Cloneygath, Monasterevan. He cures ringworm and jaundice. He cures ringworm with an ointment he makes himself and he cures jaundice with a medicine. The person who has either of these diseases must visit him on three successive days. These cures have been handed down to him by his mother, the late Mrs. Edgehill, Cloneygath, Monasterevan.
