  1. There are no tailors around this district now. Long ago there was a tailor there but he was buried His name was Denis Dwyer. A tailor has a needle and a themble and a sewing machine and an iron and a piece of chalk and a ruler. There is no tailor nearer than Skibbereen to me. They used make very strong suits when they would get a good piece of cloth. There are a good few shirts made around here now. The women buy the cotton or the silk first and then cut it in the shape of a shirt and then sew it with a sewing machine or with their hand. The tailor
