- There is a treasure hidden in Rockybay. It was put there by a giant and his man. The giant and his man hid a crock of gold. When the man was putting the gold into a hole, the giant told him to mind the gold, and as he was covering the hole he smoothered the man. People say that the man is still alive, and if anyone went to look for the gold they could not get it because the man is still minding it. It is about six feet deep.
