  1. Masses were said in the fields during the Penal Times. There is a Mass Rock in Termonfeckin where mass was said. This rock is in a field situated near the main road between Termonfeckin and Drogheda. Nobody owns this field. It is supposed that mass was said here.
    In the Penal Times priests were ordained at a place called Glasspistol near Termonfeckin. The priests of that time were killed by soldiers if they were caught saying mass.
    There is a cave where the priests hid long ago. This cave is on Castlego
