    Before the Termonfeckin bridge was built the people drove the horses across the river.
    There are no customs connected with crossroads during Winter, except in the Summer there is dancing at the Slate Row Cross.

    The Baltray Road got its name because it is the road leading from Termonfeckin and ends at the shop called the 19th in the village of Baltray. The new Road is so called because it is the last road to be made in
