    It got this name because there was a lime-kiln in it some years ago
    Miss Smyth's antecedents drew the lime-stone from the Kilnagarbet quarries and burned it in this lime-kiln.
    The burned lime was used for enriching the soil and for white washing the houses.
    John Rahill Caulfield Tullyco Cootehill owns a field called the Old Man's Grave.
    A giant is supposed to be buried in this field
