  1. At home we keep six cows, one horse, one mare, one sow, forty pigs, one hundred and forty hens, and six ducks.
    The domestic animals kept on my father's farm are the cat, and the dog.
    We have a cow at home called "St Brigids cow"
    She is known by this name because "St Brigid used to keep nothing but white cows.
    When we are calling home the cows, we say, "Howy Howy Howy" this seems to make them walk faster.
    If the cows become restless when being milked we say "thrish", this soothes them.
    If when we are driving the cows and they attempt to go in the wrong direction, we say "che," then they stand, if not too excited.
    Our cow-house at home accommodates nine cows, and it is
