    Bob Nix of Boula ,Meelick ,Co Clare. Used to throw weights at Newcastle Racwes (Monaleen Limerick)against the O Gradys and C.He took out a stone from Boula on an ass's cart.It was extra weighty and the heavier the stone the better he liked it.He used to throw against Jack Gradys grandfather.(Jack the late champion)
    Dead from us to 50 years.Should be most of 80 then.
