He went to the other public houses and did in like manner. The master asked him would he sell the hat and the spalpeen said that he would because he was very hard up for money. The master (asked him would) said that he would give him a hundred pounds for it and the spalpeen he would sell it to him for a hundred pounds.
When the master got the hat he invited some friends to the town until they would have a great day. The master and the friends went in to a public house and the man called for a drink and he struck the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
