    In the olden days priests could not say mass inside any building. They were afraid they might be caught by the English soldiers and put to death.
    About three hundred yards from where I live a priest named Father John Henry was saying Mass on the side of a hill. He was captured by the English soldiers and he was shot and put to death. He was buried on the side of the same hill where he used to say Mass.
    A tombstone was placed over his grave by his friends and as years passed by trees began to grow one at each end of the grave. On this account this hill is called John's Hill
