    Now falling into line
    From Stormy Bangor Erris
    To pleasant Ballandine
    Come lend me your attention
    And unto you I'll tell
    How Frank O'Boyle of Corick
    Before the people fell

    II
    He took the island farm.
    And well the traitor knew.
    That food for Mayo's people
    Once on its bosom grew.
    And all around were waiting
    The honest sons of toil
    Who lived where now are grazing
    The bullocks of O'Boyle.

    He took the island farm
    And then the leagures came.
    And soon the people of Mayo
    In a passion was aflame.
