There was no post going round the Glen at this time This woman always went out to Moville and any letters that were in the Post Office she would taken the into the Glen and distribute them among the people. I also heard that there were two old women in Meenletterbale who never wore shoes and who carried turf in bags from the mountain bare-footed. Their names were Mc Laughlin and they were sisters. There was an old woman living in Glenagivney hillside locally called Paddy Mickie's Annie, her proper name was
