Marriage is the greatest event of one's life, there are a great many superstitions connected with it. There are lucky and unlucky days,

Some do not like to marry in Lent as they say,
"Marry in Lent and you are sure to repent" or, "Marry in haste and repent at leisure." The June bride is the luckiest bride, June is the month of roses.May Eve is a most unlucky marriage day, and pale blue and white is unfortunate for a wedding gown.
