  1. There was once a man who was ill. The people would not go for the priest for him. For a long time he was asking them to go but they would not go. Well says the sick man if you do not go I would laugh if I was dead in the morning.

  2. Once upon a time Pat Campbell met a Jew in Bundoran. They started a competition as to which of them would name the most saints. They arranged that for each Saint they would name they would pull a hair out of each others beards. Pat started off with Saint Patrick and plucked a hair out of the Jews beard. The Jew named Saint Peter and plucked a hair from Pats beard. Pat then named Saint Bridget and gave the Jew a sore pull from his beard. This vexed the Jew and he quickly said the Twelve Apostles plucking twelve hairs from Pats beard at the one time. Pat quickly named the Dublin Fusieliers and plucked all the beard off the Jew.
