Ar an leathanach seo

  1. People long ago came to the conclusion that they could make cures out of plants. They boiled stems of flowers and plants and strained off the liquid and used this as a cure.
    They made use of a plant called Peppermint, of Watercress, Black currant jam, Chestnuts, Dandilion, Ground Ivy, Moss and Garlic.
    From the Watercress they got a cure for bruises. They roasted the watercress, and put it to the sore in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
    Black currants were used for colds.
    Chestnuts. Were used for Rheumatism. The person who had the disease carried the
