Ar an leathanach seo
- There are a great many forts in Kerry but there are none in the district of Ralapane, the nearest ones are on the road to Tarbert, one about a mile and a half from Tarbert and the other about a quarter of a mile away from that.
One fort is on the top road and the other on the left. The one of the right side of the road is in Pat Finucane's field and there are trees growing round it. There is a big ring of earth, and it is said that Cromwells soldiers used to live there.
The fort on the left side is in Walsh's field and a few trees are growing round it. Walshs built a house for cattle during the Winter time beside that fort. It is made of earth and has a small entrance.
