wedding dress up with false faces and go to the wedding that night.
If the bride and bride-groom go on there honeymoon and are not home before 12 o'clock on Shrove Tuesday night they are supposed to stay away until after Lent.

All marriagble people, that are not married during Shrove, are carried to the Skelligs. All boys and girls go around blowing horns and whistles to summon them to the boat. The oldes bachelor in the boat is made captain. Some local poet makes a song about them called the Skelligs list.

In olden times the bride used to ride behind the bride-groom when coming from the church.
