- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Thomas Ashe proposed to go. They went to a man named Jackie Brosnan, and he showed them the pot. Then they brought it to Camp Cross, and put it up on a heap of stones at Cleary's Corner. The people around came to see it. After about a week's time a funeral came to Kilgobbin. A man by the name of Master Curran was in the funeral. As he was going home from the funeral someone put the pot into his car. He never noticed it until he was behind at Griffin's. He caught the pot and threw it out in the road. It fell under the horse's legs, and got broken. Before he was home the horse fell, and destroyed her two knees. So that was the last of the pot.
