    A man was coming from Killarney one night about 12 o'clock.

    A man was coming from Killarney one night about 12 O' clock. As he was coming towards a bridge in Rosanean, the horse stopped in the road and began snorting and would not cross the bridge.
    The man got off the horse and went into a house which was near. He got a coal from the woman of the house, and the horse crossed the bridge without any bother, when he had the lighted coal in his hand. The man continued on his journey and reached home without any further interruptions.
    When he reached home, he stabled his horse and went to bed. The dairy was next to the stable and when the man got up in the morning he found
