tonight mother laying the coffin on the floor. He opened the coffin and found inside a lovely girl not dead but asleep in the coffin. There was a little flask alongside her head which when he gave her a drop of it she sat up in the coffin and asked where was she and they told her in the western part of the county Kerry. She told him to get the fastest horse and ride to her own home in the county Limerick and to be sure to reach her fathers home before the corpse there would be buried. He reached there in time to save her life. He had great trouble to make them open the coffin and all that was inside was a big black stick. For it is that the fairies had taken the girl.
