There are two wells together, one a spring well and the other has a cure for sore eyes.
There is an old convent and an old chapel near the well, and it was St Catherine that founded them both.
On the top of the well is the head of St Catherine, and if you visit the well for nine days you will be cured.
One day as St Catherine drew near the Convent she met a man who hated the Catholic faith and she asked him for a drink but he refused. Then immediately a well sprang up and St Catherine got a drink.
Then the man fell down at her feet and said, "I will receive the true faith because of this miracle."
Then the man was converted, and he always helped St Catherine in her work. The well was afterwards called St Catherine's well.
