  1. If anyone picks a dandelion, and chews it it is said that it will cure a cough
If a person, affected by the whooping cough, passes under a donkey, it is said that it will cure the sick person.
If a person has a toothache, he should put a frog in his mouth and he is sure to be cured. If a person has warts, he should pick some ivy leaves, boil them, when they are boiled put them to the spot affected. It is a certain cure.
Another cure for warts is as follows, rub a handful of stones to the part affected, then put them in a bag and drop them on the road. The first person who picks them up will get the warts and they will disappear from the others hands
