- Now a-days the people have more ways for baking bread. Long ago they made all wheaten bread. There was a big building in the townsland of Ansboro and they (mal) made a lot of flour there.
There was another flour mill at the bottom of the town owned by Mr Hanks. The one in Ansboro is now owned by Minch & Norton.
It is still used for malting. In the month of October or September the farmers bring in their corn into this mill. In olden times people (mak) made nothing but wheaten bread.
