- Long ago in Ireland in Co Leix in Ballyaddams there was a pot of gold hidden. It was buried with some Irish warriers who lived in the castle of Ballyaddams. The man was laid in a lead coffin, and is in tomb. He is on the left side of the grave yard. When you walk on one stone the old people say the coffin rises up and the gold is on the top of the coffin. No one ever saw the pot of gold but men tried to get it.
