(Long before the aeroplane was thought of this sort of rhyme was common in the south). Martin Healy, Corse[?], Glenville who died 30 or so years ago.
Said
"The day will come when the cattle will be turned back at the cross roads and the owner will not be asked where he was going with them."

When foot and mouth disease broke out about 1914 the cattle were stopped at cross roads leading to the fair and turned back.
The owner will not be asked ------ them.
means that no one would ask how much he wanted for the cattle.
