In Ireland, long ago, there were no doctors and people used herbs to cure themselves.
Dandelion is a cure for warts. You cut the dandelion and in the middle of it there is a cure like milk. Put the milk to the wart, and the wart.
Water-cress is a cure for a bad heart, you eat the water-cress as it comes up out of the water. Many people go to the river and pick it for cures. Water-cress is also a cure for a sore throat.
Bad Sight. Go into a field and meet a big butter cup or a daisy with a big stem. Pick a dozen of them and put them into hot water. Them the little flowers will fly around the water, and to be cured you will have to bathe your eyes in it. Daises(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
