- In olden times in Ireland people often hid money in times of war in bogs and old ruins. Some time ago it was said that there was money hid in old walls in Crowmartin but no body knows for certain whether there is or not. A long time ago people was trying to get the treasure but no body ever could get it. It is not known who put it there.
