    Pat was one day sitting at the fire. It was a fine day and Pat was enjoying himself at the fire and had nothing to do although he had a big farm of land. The woman told him several times to go out and do something but Pat didn't mind her. At last when she was done boiling and baking she tool up all the fire in a great big shovel and threw it out on the manure heap. Pat did nothing only took up his stool and walked out to the manure heap and sat down quite contented, and when the fire would be going out he would put more fuel on it. He sat there for the rest of the evening. There was a man
